Sleep: 7 hours


So, I've been battling a lot of issues lately, a. my ankle is still sore, 1 month later. b. my wrist is somehow sore, c. I think I'm battling a little flu bug or something...but nonetheless here is the latest


Monday WOD: was supposed to be a 5k RUN, but b/c of my ankle I did a 500 m run with a minute between for a total of 5000m row and a time of 18:54. I was TIRED and didn't feel well at all. 


OF course, I decided to do the strength portion of it, where Austin said I looked beat and tired. Still did the strength portion of course......
5x3 FRONT SQUAT @ 205
5X3 CLEAN PULLS @ 225
5x3 snatch was also scheduled...had NO energy left. 


No workout on Tuesday...no real excuse except laziness and bad time management, I'm in full effect for baseball season. 


I've been on a rehydration kick these last few days and it doesn't seem to be helping me out quite yet. Trying to fight this bug with medicine and to no avail quite yet. Chest congestion and sinus pressure = a tired ass Filipino. 


So for breakfast today, I had 4 slices of uncured bacon from TJ's, and 2 free range eggs cooked with 3-4 cups of spinach. UNFORTUNATELY, had me some yogurt pretzels and I know that this will contribute to some mucous buildup due to the dairy but I needed a quick on the go bite before running another call at work. Arrived back at the station and baked some chicken for lunch in ~2 T of olive oil and some lemon pepper seasoning, also added some salt and baked that for 35 minutes at 375 degrees, also had ~1 cup of broccoli (steamed with salt for added flavor).  Dinner consisted of a protein bar on the go.....got back to quarters and finished off the other half of chicken with a handFUL of macadamia nuts.
